Thought you might like a peek at the two cards we made at my open house last week. The first one featured some new "in colors": Bermuda Bay, Melon Mambo, and Crushed Curry as well as the beautiful new stamp set in the holiday mini called Serene Snowflakes.
The second card was a Halloween treat card featuring the new sweet treat cups and Sweet Centers stamp set also from the Holiday mini. How cute it is to make a card filled with candy!
By the way, we used the Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set on both cards with the new Modern Label punch. We stamped "friend to friend" on the outside of the first card and "Happy Halloween" on the inside of the second one. That set is so versatile - it has sayings for almost any occasion and they all fit inside the label punch!

One of my good friends chairs an annual fundraiser for Cystic Fibrosis here in CT each year. It is such a good cause as many children suffer from this disease and they still have not found a cure. The event is this Saturday night and each year we have made favors for the tables. This year we decided to make little "sour cream containers" for each place setting filled with after dinner mints. I cut all the designer papers and my friend and another lovely stamp club member came over the other night and we made loads of favors! We stamped, folded, and crimped till wee hours of the night. We finished the whole lot yesterday and topped off at 212 of them! Even my friend's daughter Abby helped us out - she is such a cutie I had to take a photo of her with all the favors. Enjoy!
